Louise works across all retirement villages, sheltered accommodation, care homes and nursing homes and has being doing this type of entertainment for over a year.
Louise is a versatile singer with an extensive repertoire and is able to cater to the ages, needs and tastes of your residents. The shows are always entertaining and people are encouraged to join in either singing along, clapping or dancing if they feel so inclined.
Shows
The shows usually last for 45 or 60 minutes depending on the residents’ requirements. Often the first visit is for 45mins, and future bookings tend to be for an hour.
Songs range from Musical Theatre & Film from the 1920’s to present day, Music Hall & War-time, Christmas, Classical and Opera. Please have a look at the pre-defined repertoire lists. Of course, there are many other songs that have so far not been included in these lists, so if you have any requests, please discuss these when making a booking.
Equipment
Frequently space in the communal lounge is limited, so Louise travels with very little equipment. It consists of a small backing speaker, music stands and a CD player or iPod. If the venue is outside, then a full PA system is used with speakers, amp and microphone along side the other equipment. All we need is access to a plug socket (a 3meter extension lead is carried with the equipment) and a small table to put the speaker on. For indoor venues, a microphone is not used. All the equipment is professional and regularly pat tested and Louise has full entertainers liability insurance.
Louise performs to high quality backing tracks on CD of iPod which gives a full and professional sound. Please see the 'repertoire' page for a comprehensive list of the songs performed but if you've any requests that are not on there please ask and we will try to find and learn them for you. Should you request singing with a live pianist, it will double the cost and more performing space will be required.
Price & Location
Louise charges £80 for 45minutes or £100 for an hour. There is no difference in price for afternoon or evening, for weekday or weekend. If more than 3 sessions are booked at the same time in a year, then the prices are reduced to £65 for 45mins and £80 for one hour.

Louise is happy to travel anywhere in Berkshire, Surrey, Hampshire, Middlesex, Oxfordshire & Buckinghamshire but will charge 45p per mile for anywhere over a 30 mile radius from Bracknell (RG12).
